1.) Lasseter introduced Wilhite to Tim Burton and Wilhite gave Tim Burton's animation a chance.
2.) Tim Burton's animations were constantly rejected.
3.) Lasseter's position at Disney was put to an end, therefore he went to Lucasfilm.
4.) Lasseter lost his position because his project The Brave Little Toaster wasn't made, therefore his assisstance wasn't needed anymore.

1.) "Walt Disney, all his career, all his life, was striving to get more dimension in his animation." This is characterization because Walt Disney is briefly mentioned and when he is mentioned, Lasseter gives a brief statement about Walt Disney's character. Pg. 53
2.) "The medium of motion pictures had had its starts in the Bay Area a little more than a century earlier at an estate called Palo Alto, the future site of Stanford University." This is foreshadowing because it is stating that Palo Alto will be the future site of Stanford University in the future. Pg. 61
